Four studies examined spouses' attitudes in various decision-making areas, using the theory and methods of Anderson's information integration approach. The focus in these studies was on the aspects of psychological functioning in marriage. The first concerned on how an individual's attitudes are changed and shaped by marriage. The second concerned the nature of the processes underlying these changes.
