Only v. 4 has general t.p. Vols. 1-3 have only special t.p., with general title appearing in colophon.
Vols. 1-3 are full-color facsimiles of 3 of Humphry Repton's numerous "red books," manuscripts containing proposals, with hand-colored sketches, for landscaping the estates of his English clients. The mss. were prepared in 1812, 1792, and 1798, respectively.
"Five hundred and fifteen sets have been printed, of which five hundred are for sale"--Colophon.
Vol. 4 includes bibliographical references.
