As a young artist in the 1960s, he turned against the prevailing trends of conceptual and committed art and for half a century Tadeusz would devote himself entirely to painting human existence in all its beauty and complexity. He has fearlessly, consistently and uncompromisingly throughout his artistic career translated the theater of life in grand and spectacular ways. The importance of Tadeusz? art and his incredible painting talent were recognized early on in Germany. Yet it is only now for the first time in the Netherlands that a retrospective exhibition in Museum MORE and the accompanying catalog are devoted to him. Als jonge kunstenaar in de jaren 1960 keerde hij zich tegen de heersende trends van de conceptuele en geëngageerde kunst en een halve eeuw lang zou Tadeusz zich volledig toeleggen op het schilderen van het menselijk bestaan in al zijn schoonheid en complexiteit. Hij heeft onverschrokken, consistent en compromisloos zijn hele artistieke carrière het theater van het leven op grootse en spectaculaire wijze in verf vertaald. Het belang van Tadeusz? kunst en zijn ongelooflijke schildertalent werden al vroeg erkend in Duitsland. Toch is het nu pas voor het eerst in Nederland dat er een overzichtstentoonstelling in Museum MORE en bijbehorende catalogus aan hem worden gewijd.
