Or3409. PUGAM/AN WA RAJA WAN. Pagan and Ava History. Burmese palm leaf manuscript, 74 ff. This is the title inscribed on the manuscript outer leaf, but it is misleading as it is not part of such a History. Actually, it is an incomplete manuscript part of Cambu Dipa U con Kyam, a geographic and historical account of Burma. The early sections give details of boundaries of towns and other places. Place names are listed in the right hand margin. The later sections contain many administrative records for the 17th and 18th Centuries A.D. No date found. 19th century. Or3462-3464. HISTORY OF KINGS OF PEGU: (in 3 Volumes).Vol. 1, 190 ff.; Vol.2, 210 ff.; Vol. 3, 174 ff. European paper Burmese manuscript on History of Kings of Hanthawaddy (Also called in handwritten English introduction: History of Hanthawade). On page 2 of Vol. 1 and on p. 156 of Vol. 3 it is stated that this history has been translated from Mon into Burmese by Maung Shwe Kya in 1847-48 and that the History in the Mon origin

al was written by Hsayadaw Athwa of Moulmein. The main text covers down to the mid-18th century and the death of King Alaung-hpaya; but it also contains a short account of events thereafter including the 1st Anglo-Burmese War and gives the text of the Yandabo and commercial treaties. At the end of Vol. 3 there are genealogical tables of the rulers of Burma, a short account of the rulers of Burma, and a short account of the history of Ceylon. Or3416. TON NU MRUI CAC TAN (Title given by Phayre) Administrative records of Toungoo. Burmese palm leaf manuscript. 37 ff. Interesting sittan giving details of the boundaries, revenue and administration of Toungoo and surrounding areas in the late 18th Century. It is connected with the revenue inquest conducted in 1785 A.D. Dated 1858. Or3418. MRUI TAKA TUI I NAY NI MIT CA. The Boundaries of Towns. Burmese palm leaf manuscript. 35 ff. Begins with a historical summary of the foundation of towns, giving their boundaries. There is a detailed accoun

t of Toungoo history. There are several sittan, mostly dated 1637 A.D. Copied in 1855 -- This summary based on correspondence with British Library.
