The illustration is an engraving on a folded leaf representing the ceremonial catafalque erected in the Cathedral of Lima; plate mark approximately 50 x 35 cm. Medina reports that it is signed "Bexarano me fecit. Camacho deline. et esculp., 1760, Lima" but is unsigned in Yale, New York Public Library and Biblioteca Nacional de España, and John Carter Brown Library copies. The architect Antonio Bejarano Loayza also designed monuments for memorial ceremonies for Queen María Bárbara, consort of Fernando VI, King of Spain (1759) and King Fernando VI (1760), and the engraver Camacho engraved the plates in the commemorative volumes; see "Túmulos of colonial Peru," by Lorene Pouncey, in Art bulletin, v. 67 (1985), pages 28-29.
