The story of North American MB missionary work in Zaire is only a small part of the broad sweep of the 20th-century mission movement. This book tells the story of missionary specialists who brought healing, education, and literature to the aid of the emerging church, helping it prepare for survival during the difficult days of civil war and into the future as an independent church in an independent country. The methods used and the polices made reflect the mission thinking current in that day.
