"Phaedra and Hippolitus" has special title-page; Joseph Addison wrote the prologue and Matthew Prior the epilogue; first performed April 1707.
In this copy "Pocockius" precedes "Bodleian speech." The former, which was first printed here, was translated into English anonymously about 1750 as "Thales, a monody."
