Edition Notes

Without statement of authorship on t.p. According to BLC the book is "signed: S.E.B., i.e. Sir S.E. Brydges." The signed leaf is not present in LC copy, but its t.p. is inscribed in ink, probably by the author himself, "By Lord Chandos of Sudeley." Cf. DNB for Brydges's claim to the Chandos title, which this book advances.
"100 copies only." Privately printed. Cf. the author's The autobiography, times, opinions, and contemporaries of Sir Egerton Brydges. 1834. P. 260, 280.
