This is the Brindley issue of the 2nd ed. (1735) of which there were 3 issues: (1) J. and J. Bonwicke, (2) Osborn, and (3) Brindley. Cf. Paltsits. Translation of: Voyages du baron de La Hontan dans l'Amérique septentrionale, as rev. by Nicolas de Gueudeville.

Vol. 1: [24], 280 p., [10] leaves of plates; v. 2: 304 p., [10] leaves of plates.

Vol. 2 has title and imprint: New voyages to North-America : giving a full account of the customs, commerce, religion, and strange opinions of the savagesof that country : with political remarks upon the courts of Portugal and Denmark, and the present state of the commerce of those countries / written by the Baron Lahontan ... - The second edition. - London : Printed for J. Brindley ..., and C. Corbett ..., 1735.

"A conference or dialogue between the author and Adario, a noted man among the savages" (v. 2, p. 92-185) has been attributed to Nicolas Gueudeville.

"A discourse of the habit, houses, complexion and temperament of the savages of North-America": v.2, p. 3-91.

"A conference or dialogue between the author and Adario, a noted man among the savages": v. 2, p. 92-185.

"An appendix, containing some new voyages to Portugal and Denmark": v. 2 p. 187-288.

"A short dictionary of the most universal language of the savages": v. 2, p. 289-304, includes a brief discussion of the Algonquian and Huron (Wyandot) languages.

The Dialogues have been attributed to Nicolas Gueudeville.
