Caption title: Message : James Kempt, His Excellency the Administrator of the government informs the House of Assembly, that having transmitted for the consideration of His Majesty's government a copy of the address and resolutions presented to him by the House in the last session, relative to the deductions made as a percentage on the collection of the revenue in former years by the officers of His Majesty's Customs, and also to His Majesty's proportion of seizures under certain acts of the Imperial Parliament, he has lately received from the Secretary of State, for the purpose of being communicated to the Assembly, a minute of the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury, to whom the subject had been referred, containing their Lordships' decision thereon, and His Excellency lays a copy of the same before the House.
