The text of the play is written in a professional italic hand, the frontmatter, stage directions, etc. in a quasi-typographical roman, 27 lines per full page.
The musical score (ff. 105-150) is on different paper and is copied in a different hand. Each page is ruled with 8 staves, not all of which are filled up.
Bound in half tan leather and brown marble paper.
The drawings are in pen and ink, some with grey wash. All are signed and ff. 12 and 42 are dated 1653.
