Il volume documenta la realizzazione della fontana che Daniel Buren ha realizzato nel parco di villa La Magia a Pistoia che va ad aggiungersi alle altre che negli ultimi anni hanno arricchito il vasto spazio verde in cui è immersa la villa. Installata sul prato prospiciente la villa medicea "La Magia", - dice Giuliano Gori nel suo saggio - in posizione frontale rispetto alla prestigiosa vista offerta dalla dorsale del Montalbano, è una presenza che ridefinisce lo spazio circostante, consentendone una nuova chiave di lettura.
