Broadside calling for the formation of a Society "for the education of candidates for the ministry in Cambridge University" to raise funds "for assisting meritorious students in Divinity of limited means to reside at the University for a requisite time, of one of more professors whose attention may be exclusively given to this class of students, and of a separate building." The resulting society would be established in 1816 as The Society for the Promotion of Theological Education at Harvard University.
