This collection consist of material relating to the Protestant clergyman John Foxe and his writings on religious intolerance in England. The papers contain correspondence from prominent reformers and martyrs of the period. Also, included are documents on the Canon Laws devised during the reign of Henry VIII, which gives scholars a look at the early stages of the English monarchy's separation from Rome.
