A song sheet, published on the occasion of a Concord school festival. Also known by the first line of verse, "March, march, mothers and grand-mamas!" Cf. Louisa May Alcott encyclopedia.

Later published with a correction in: Reports of the school committee ... of the Town of Concord, Mass. ... March 16, 1861. Supplement. (Concord : Benjamin Tolman, 1861). Cf. BAL.

The published version indicates it is to be sung to "All the blue bonnets are over the border".
