First Sentence
"If we revert to the times when Freemasonry took a decided position amongst the Institutions of this country by the revival of the Grand Lodge in London, about the commencement of the eighteenth century, after the Ancient Grand Lodge at York has discontinued its meetings, and only four Lodgers were to be found within the bills of mortality, we shall contemplate a fraternity constructed on a model different from the Freemasonry of our own times."
