A commentary on book 5 (De syllabarum quantitate ac versificandi ratione) of Juan Luis de la Cerda's reworking of Antonio de Nebrija's system of Latin grammar, published in 1633 (under title: Aelii Antonii Nebrissensis De institutione grammaticae libri quinque) as the sole official Latin grammar for the Spanish realms. For the development and revision of the "arte de Antonio," see Nebrija, 1441-1522 / por Félix G. Olmedo. p. [71]-105; and Backer-Sommervogel, II, col. 986.
Published anonymously. The 1754 ed. names Santiago de Zamora as author.
Signatures: [A]⁴ B-C⁴ D-F⁴(?), ²A⁴, ³A⁴. ³A is signed, on the 1st leaf only, "A2."
