The version of Antonio de Nebrija's system of Latin grammar ("arte de Antonio") which is treated here is that reworked by Juan Luis de Cerda and published in 1633 under title: Aelii Antonii Nebrissensis De institutione grammaticae libri quinque. Specifically treated is book 2, De nominum genere.
Although several bibliographies, including Palau, confuse Diego Lopez of Seville with a real Diego Lopez of Valencia de Alcántara, "Diego Lopez, vezino de Sevilla" is the pseudonym of Agustín de Herrera. Cf. Nebrija, 1441-1522 / por Félix G. Olmedo. p. 103, also reference in Palau preceding item 139944.
