Part 2 of de Bry's collection known as America gives an account of expeditions by French Huguenots to Florida und Jean Ribaut (1562), René de Laudonnière (1564), and Dominique de Gourgues (1567). Jacques Le Moyne is the author of the Laudonnière expedition and the artist of the drawings. The authors of the other two accounts which follow the plates have not been identified.

Signatures: )(⁴ a-d⁴ A-H⁶ I⁴ K⁶ (last leaf blank); leaves a, H2 and K3 have no signature marks, H3 is wrongly marked H2, H4 if H3; K2 is K and K3 is marked )()(2.
