ABSTRACT: This paper reviewed current reclamation policies for British Columbia and established an agenda for the future. It was intended to describe the existing mining and regulatory framework, to clarify the Ministry's future initiatives and policy direction, and to initiate discussions among industry, government, and the public to develop reclamation regulations and policy for the 1990's.
