The book is text only, with no illustrations or screenshots. The first half of the book is reviews. The book then gives helpful hints in picking games, hosting tournaments, explaining how cartridges are made, descriptions of various accessories, and information about fan clubs, and system service centers. The guide covers titles on Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Colecovision, Intellivision, Odtssey2, and Vectrex systems. The book was originally sold for $6.95.
