Poems and collages.
Photocopies, on individual leaves of coarse brown paper, of poems and titles in italic typescript on rough-edged mounted paper cutouts surrounded by collages primarily of cheesecloth and corrugated paper. Stapled at left margin and glued inside folded sheet of tissue paper with apparently burnt edges. The whole glued at back hinge and tied with cotton cord to gray art-paper wrappers heavily decorated with collages of currugated and other papers, cheesecloth, large leaves, tree bark, and string, all apparently singed by fire. A strip of canvas reinforcing the hinge and treated paper on back wrapper mimic old binding materials.
Part of a collection of handmade chapbooks, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
