"These essays were first published in the 'de luxe' copies of 'Harry Carter, Typographer', by Martyn Thomas, John A. Lane, and Anne Rogers (Hinton Charterhouse: The Old School Press 2005). Carter's text has been edited to Hart's Rules as he would have expected it to have been. The text was keyboarded and cast in 12D/15 pt Monotype (Hot-Metal) Romulus by Stan Lane at Gloucester Typesetting and printed on a handmade Van Gelder paper at The Old School Press on a Western proof press ... "--Colophon.
