This draft document is the result of the consolidation and integration of fifteen regional transportation plans into the first statewide, twenty year, intermodal transportation plan. Completed by the Colorado Dept. of Transportation and released by the Transportation Commission on Feb. 16, 1996 for extensive, statewide, public review and comment, the plan addresses all modes of transportation including aviation, bicycle, highway, pedestrian, and rail. It is required under the federal Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 and under Colorado state statute.
