Part of a collection of handmade chapbooks, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.

Consists of 19 parts, typescript within identical decorative borders reproduced on individual leaves of coarse brown paper, each part paginated separately and tied at the top with blue yarn. Laid in a constructed "shoe box" decorated inside and out with mounted brown and colored paper cutouts that include title and imprint as well as illustrations. Collage on box lid has author's name on tag tied to paper shoe with a blue-green yarn shoelace. Title pages are shoe box liners (free shoe-box flyleaves); colophon reproduced on paper cutout mounted at bottom of box.
