Although not specifically a formal, professionally-written unit account of military activities, it is THE most (and possibly only) accurate and in-depth description of this unit. It covers the entire time period from late 1941 (forming up and training) through deployment in No. Africa, Italy, France and Germany. Composed, produced and eventually published by members of the unit, it contains possibly hundreds of photos of the men at work and at leisure times with as many people and places identified as security would allow during wartime. Information and photos were collected on-going for about four years, until publication in 1945.
