Im Mai 1923 wurde in der antisemitischen Hammer-Zeitschrift Heft 502 das jüdische Bankhaus Warburg aus Hamburg untersucht. Max Warburg klagte gegen die dort vorgebrachten Behauptungen und selbst im Reichstag wurde darüber debattiert. Zur Untermauerung seiner Anschuldigungen veröffentlichte Fritsch dieses Buch.
In May 1923, the Jewish banking house Warburg in Hamburg was studied in the anti-Semitic Hammer magazine issue 502. Max Warburg sued, and even in the Reichstag was the case debated. In support of his allegations Fritsch published this book.
