Edition Notes

Plates 1-47 are largely the same as those so numbered in volume two of his Teutsche Academie, though with the removal of the title on plate 1, & the addition to several of the Latin titles & the proportional measurements; ten further plates are variously inserted between 34 & 47 (with number plus star or stars), & numbers 48 to 58 are also new; plate 27 is the octuple panoramic view of Rome, plate 58 the triple-size view of the villa Pamphili.
