All illustrations and photographs (except for the cover) are in black and white. The dust jacket and cover of the book display a color photograph of the Pleiades star cluster provided by the Palomar Observatory. There is a glossary but no index or table of contents. This book was only available in hardcover and sold for $3.95 (USD) in 1967.
