Full title: Whippoorwill Road: The Supernatural Poems. A collection of supernatural poems, both serious and comical, which has grown in successive editions to 272 pages. Poems include a long Frankenstein poem, "Hunchback Assistant Tells All," plus many poems on traditional monsters (vampires, werewolves, mummies). The poet lives in Providence, Rhode Island, where horror writer H.P. Lovecraft spent his life, and where Poe visited on his doomed romance of 1848. This book includes a number of poems about and inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and his mythos.
