Meteorology and atomic energy, 1968.

  • 1 Want to read

The focus of this work is an overview and in-depth mathematical analysis of the transport and diffusion of air-borne particulates and trace gases within the planetary-boundary layer of the atmosphere. Several diffusion and transport experiments are discussed, as well as meteorological instrumentation and techniques useful in studying and monitoring transport and diffusion. The last two chapters focus on radioactive-cloud dose calculations and an environmental safety analysis of nuclear energy.
