A family of four and the son's best friend go to the country for the summer because the dad, a Doctor, is going to provide medical care for the small community. They are staying on a small island located in the local lake. During the day the kids the two boys and a younger sister explore the neighboring islands. It is on Dr. Anger's Island that they find a mystery. We follow along to see if they can solve it by summers end.
