Helen O'Gorman, from a noted Mexican family, was also an artist. She personally did the illustrations for the book. Mexico has many unusual flowering trees and plants. She also gives the Mexican and Indian names for the plants as well as the English and Latin names. My copy disappeared during a move and I truly regret its loss. If you are a tropical gardener or an artist this book is a good reference.
