Edition Notes

Caption title. Imprint from STC.

Date in caption title is old style--STC.

Although the regnal year is given as "27 Elizabet." it seems possible that this may be an error (by Dyson?); "Cal. S.P.D., 1581-1590", p. 155, lists a letter of 24 Jan. 1584 from Cobham and Randolph requesting Walsingham's signature on orders for the posts in Kent before publication, and the present item probably belongs after 8145--STC.

Imperfect; as filmed left side of text is illegible.

Reproduction of the original in the Bodleian Library.

STC (2nd ed.) 8148.

Steele, R. Tudor and Stuart proclamations, 777.

Available electronically as part of Early English books online.

Microfilm. Ann Arbor, Mich. : UMI, 1961. 1 microfilm reel ; 35 mm. (Early English books, 1475-1640 ; 884:06).
