Book Details

First Sentence

"This excellent book, while well researched in it's time, does not include the "last Quaker clockmaker," Goldsmith's son Benjamin (known as Benjamin III). At the time of it's publication, there where no known examples of clocks by Benjamin III. Since that time several examples have surfaced, showing Chandlee clock production until Ben III's death in 1822."
