Stating also that the General Court "have in their present session voted, that the sum of three pounds, in bills of the new emission, be paid to every able-bodied man that shall voluntarily enlist in his majesty's service for manning the said ship." This statement was not included in the similar proclamation dated May 31, 1745; cf. Bristol B1289.
