A history of Cuba written by Obispo Fray Pedro Agustin Morell de Santa Cruz. The book was originally published around 1760 and it reproduces what is widely believed to be among the first works of literature ever written in Cuba, Silvestre de Balboa's epic poem "Espejo de paciencia" (1608).
