Obespechenie prav lichnosti pri rassledovanii prestupleniĭ

An examination of issues concerning the protection of individual rights during criminal investigations. The author examines ways to improve procedures in this area as Russia transitions to a democratic state ruled by law and makes recommendations on how to protect the rights of persons who are suspected or accused of crimes. The work is based on an analysis of the new Criminal Procedural Code of Russia and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation concerning the Criminal Code of the RSFSR in effect as of August 2000.
