"Kirovakan" is a book about the author's home town, the third Armenian city Kirovakan(now Vanadzor).It tells about the city's history, sightseeings, it's famous people.
The author of the book is Narek Mesropyan,well-known Armenian journalist, writer, translator and dramatist.
Narek Mesropyan was born on December 9, 1943. He was graduated from Leningrad Academy of Art and did a great job for fine arts' popularization. "The sun on the brush" is one of Narek Mesropyan's most famous books. It tells about impressionism as a tendency in art. Being a serious research it's still wrote in very specific, fascinating manner.
Narek Mesropyan had been working for years as a reporter for the local "Kayts" newspaper, then for the central "Kommunist" magazine. His popularity was infinite especially because of his political essays, which always were topical and critical. He was awarded "Golden pen" in early 90-s.
Narek Mesropyan also was a translator and dramatist. His plays were performed in Vanadzor's(Kirovakan) and Artashat's drama theatres.
Narek Mesropyan died on August 4, 2000.

Work Description

This book "Kirovakan" is one of the smallest books of him, in which tells about Kirovakan`s(Vanadzor) places, for example which buildings has its story. His work "Arev@ vrdzni vra", which mean "The sun on the brush". His works do not looks like in each others. There he speaks about(In "The sun on the brush") about famous artists, he just disassemble there works.
Narek Mesropyan was born in 1943 december 9. For long years he worked in "Kayc " magazine than in "komunist" magazine as a chief reporter. Hi has a lot of translations, reports and plays. Hi is also a good playwright. His plays were performed in Vanadzor, Artashat dramatically theatres. His plays performance had a good succes also in Moscow. Narek Mesropyan awarded a "Golden nib" premium. Unfortunatly Narek Mesropyan dead in 2000. In 2004 took place an event in memory of this grate person. In addition to this it writes his daughter, and you can believe all of this.
