Die modernen Geschütze der Fussartillerie

Intended for a general audience, this book provides a detailed (but far from complete) overview of the guns and howitzers used by the fortress and siege artillery branches of major European states in the period between 1850 or so and 1907. It is particularly strong on the larger armies of Continental Europe (Germany, Austria-Hungary, France, Russia, and Italy) but weak on smaller states and Great Britain.
