Gage was a peaceful man. But these weren't peaceful times. The Valley was filled with men who carried violence in their guts, ready to unloose it like some deadly plague on the weak, the frightened, the innocent.
Gage wanted to turn his back on all of them. Wanted to ride out of The Valley forever.
