An edition of Nursery tales children love (1933)

Nursery tales children love

I HAVE ONE AND ITS ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL ILLUSTRATIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL...SOME IN COLOR AND SOME IN BLACK AND WHITE. THE LANGUAGE IS GREAT WITH A LOT OF DIFFICULT WORDS (FOR CHILDREN) SUCH AS "DISPUTING" INSTEAD OF ARGUING OR FIGHTING, WHICH IS GOOD AS IT ADDS TO THEIR VOCABULARY. ALSO INTERESTING IS THE INCLUSION IN LITTLE BLACK SAMBO OF "GHI" AS MELTED BUTTER IS CALLED IN INDIA IT'S REALLY CHARMING AND MY KIDS AND GRANDKIDS LOVED THE STORIES MUCH MORE THAN THE MORE MODERN ONES. THERE IS MUCH MORE DETAIL IN THE TEXT
