James Adams is an average fifteen year old English boy living in London with his little sister Lauren and his mother. When he comes home from school to find his mother dead from a drug overdose he is sent to an orphanage along with his sister. While there he befriends his roommate Paul, who wards off the bullies that have tormented James for quite some time. One day he is taken with Paul to destination unknown by an under-cover agent. He is asked to join a child spy agency called CHERUB. When he agrees to join and be taken in to learn and work with hundreds of other orphanes he is taken into a 'Recruitment Boot Camp'. His life is hard going through the camp especially designed to train children into becoming leathal spies. This journey is only the begining to what his life will be.
