A lushly illustrated book with beautiful photographs (over 700) and interesting descriptions, packed with information, historical, geographical and technical of the world's most remarkable trains. Filled with the romance of train travel, both past and current. Information boxes give terminal, date of opening, country and distance. The text almost gives the experience of the trip, aided by the fine photography, and the history of the line. The only thing missing is the address or connection to ordering tickets. A thouroughly enjoyable book for rail travelers or those in love with trains.
