Could love exist without trust?

Kathryn had been joyously anticipating her wedding to Rex Kingersby... until she found him in bed with his secretary - a mere week before their wedding !

Horrified, she returns his ring. But Kathryn's action prompts Rex to get drunk and he's then involved in a car crash that sees him in hospital, comatose and in a full body cast.

Now she's stuck! Being a typical 'self-sacrificial' heroine, Rex's injuries prevent her from telling his family the truth behind her refusal to go through with the wedding; in short, she hasn't the heart to let his family see the type of man Rex is.

Result ? Kathryn comes off as the 'bad guy' in this scenario, accused of callously jilting Rex!
