Kevin Lynch and the Irish Hunger Strike

This is a short history of the 1981 Irish Hunger Strike with particular emphasis on one of the ten men who died, Kevin Lynch. It is written by Aidan Hegarty from Dungiven also the hometown of Kvin Lynch. The book is not terribly detailed about the Hunger Strike but nevertheless it does give sufficient detail about its background and why it happened. Kevin Lynch is the central figure in the book and the author wrote the book with the total support of the Lynch family. It is a very attractive book and has a number of excellent photographs which adds to its overall appeal. Martin McGuiness wrote the foreword to the book and he recommends it as an authentic account of that very important chapter in Irish History.
