Patrick Skene Catling was a british writer born and schooled in London mostly know for writing the children's book "The Chocolate Touch" in 1952. He was educated at Oberlin Collage in Oberlin, Ohio USA. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a navigator and as a journalist at The Baltimore Sun and the Manchester Guardian. He currently lives in the Republic of Ireland.
