Robert Love has been using and contributing to Linux since its earliest days, including significant contributions to the Linux kernel and GNOME desktop environment. Robert is Director of Engineering at Google, where he was a member of the team that designed and shipped Android. He currently works on Google's search infrastructure.
Robert's other books include Linux Kernel Development (Addison-Wesley 2010) and Linux in a Nutshell (O'Reilly 2009). Robert holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Florida. He lives in Boston.
