V. Alexander Stefan, renowned for his research in various areas of plasma physics and controlled thermonuclear fusion, has performed scientific research in many of the world's leading research centers like P. N. Lebedev Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a founding member of The STEFAN UNIVERSITY and is a founder/series editor for four book series. V. Stefan is the inventor of the ultra short wavelength beat-wave driven free electron laser. His current research is focused on laser neurophysics and laser genomic medicine.
