Keith Moxon worked as a high school teacher in Sydney, Australia and taught Bible school classes on week ends. (1) While his Charlie Cockatoo series was published by the publishing arm of the Nazarene Church, Beacon Hill Press, Moxon himself was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (2), hence his other books were published by Review and Herald, an Adventist press. In 1967, he became editor of The Signpost, a periodical "in the Mennonite-Anabaptist stream of Christian faith" published by the Signpost Publishing Agency of New South Wales. (3)
